After the OKC Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 on Wednesday (June 6) to advance to the NBA Finals, the Miami Heat went down to the wire against the Boston Celtics and eventually won Game 7 to advance as well.

Facing elimination, the Heat pulled out the win on Saturday (June 9) in Miami. Now, Lebron gets a third try at that elusive first championship.

James led the Heat with 31 points and 12 rebounds the Game 7 win, while Dwyane Wade added 23 points, six rebounds and six assists. Forward Chris Bosh also chipped in with 19 points and eight rebounds. The Heat pulled out a tough series, riding the back of Lebron James …

Kevin Durant and his Thunder finally make the NBA Finals for the first time since its move to OKC, and the franchise earns  its first trip back since the 1995-96 season when they were still in Seattle. With their win over the Spurs in Game 6, they also became just the third team in NBA history to win four straight in the Conference Finals after trailing 2-0.

The 2012 NBA Finals looks to be exciting. OKC’s big three: Durant, Westbrook and Harden; versus Miami’s big three: James, Wade and Bosh.

Who do you got to take it all this year?
